Treasure Valley Buddy Walk Presented by C.K. Quade Law, PLLC
| || ||Thank you for your interest in the 2011 Treasure Valley Buddy Walk presented by C.K. Quade Law, PLLC!
The Buddy Walk, to be held on Saturday, October 8, is a fun and exciting celebration of people who have Down syndrome and a fundraiser for the Treasure Valley Down Syndrome Association (TVDSA). When you support the Buddy Walk, you help create awareness and acceptance for people who have Down syndrome. By supporting TVDSA, you help us provide programs and education to families and advocate for those with disabilities as well as support research on Altzheimer's disease.
Whether this is your fifth Buddy Walk or your first, we welcome you! We encourage you to create a team on this site and invite people to join you at the walk, make team signs, dress up and have fun! Come and support a friend who has Down syndrome or come and meet a new friend that day! Visit the links on this site to form a team, register or donate to the event. There are help videos to assist you.
New this year will be a silent auction table with several very nice items such as 2 round trip tickets to anywhere in the United States on Alaska Airlines, a beautiful hand made quilt, McCall vacation packages, and a large basket of Epionce Skin Care Products (check back for the addition of new items). This year we will again have the Buddy Walk Merchandise table and a raffle for some wonderful prizes, so don't forget your wallet.
Online registration for the walk is now closed but you may continue to make donations using this site until December 1. You can still register the day of the walk, October 8, at Capitol Park from 9:00am to 10:30am at a slightly higher cost. This is considered late registration so we cannot guarantee a specific size or color of t-shirt. Registration forms will be available at Capitol Park at the registration table or you can go to http://www.idahodownsyndrome.org, scroll down the page and click on the Buddy Walk logo on the left. This will take you to the Buddy Walk page where you can print off a form to fill out and bring to the park.
